When the City of Gainesville, Florida expanded services in their parking program they entrusted our help to spread the word; continuing the city’s growing movement for a more responsive, human-centered public sector.

We created a mini-message project for the Public Works: Parking Operations department that included a helpful website and consumables – all centered around the city’s new smartphone parking program and online parking and permitting services.

Community residents were used as models, on location, to add to the project’s authenticity and the city’s mantra: Citizen Centered. People Empowered.

Spreading
the word

The website, gvilleparking.com, is used by visitors of downtown Gainesville: those coming for leisure and business, along with a hyper-local audience of city residents seeking information on neighborhood parking requirements. The compact homepage quickly gives users the information they seek, while a robust footer menu offers additional options.

A map of municipal services and attractions in the downtown area gives visitors handy information on parking and getting around using city transit.
